Fabric Composition Analysis

1. Cotton: Advantages: sweat-absorbing, breathable, soft, anti-allergic, easy to clean, and not easy to pill. Natural fabric, comfortable to wear, breathable and warm. Disadvantages: easy to wrinkle, shrink, easy to deform, easy to fade, poor durability.
2. Polyester: Advantages: 1. High strength. The short fiber strength is 2.6-5.7cN/dtex, and the high-strength fiber is 5.6-8.0cN/dtex. Due to its low hygroscopicity, its wet strength is essentially the same as its dry strength. The impact strength is 4 times higher than that of nylon and 20 times higher than that of viscose fiber. 2. Good elasticity. The elasticity is close to that of wool, and when it is stretched by 5% to 6%, it can be almost completely recovered. The wrinkle resistance exceeds other fibers, that is, the fabric does not wrinkle and has good dimensional stability. 3. Good heat resistance. 4. The surface of polyester is smooth, the internal molecules are closely arranged, and there is no hydrophilic structure between the molecules, so the moisture regain is very small and the hygroscopicity is poor. 5. Good wear resistance. Abrasion resistance is second only to nylon with the best abrasion resistance, better than other natural fibers and synthetic fibers. 6. Good light fastness. Lightfastness is second only to acrylic. 7. Corrosion resistance. Resistant to bleaches, oxidants, hydrocarbons, ketones, petroleum products and inorganic acids. Dilute alkali resistance, not afraid of mildew, but hot alkali can make it decompose. Disadvantages: poor dyeability.
3. Nylon: Advantages: 1. Strong and wear-resistant, ranking first among all fibers. Its abrasion resistance is 10 times that of cotton fiber, 10 times that of dry viscose fiber, and 140 times that of wet fiber. Therefore, its durability is excellent. 2. Nylon fabric has excellent elasticity and elastic recovery, but it is easy to deform under small external force, so its fabric is easy to wrinkle during wearing. Poor ventilation and air permeability, easy to generate static electricity. 3. The hygroscopicity of nylon fabric is better than that of synthetic fiber fabrics, so clothing made of nylon is more comfortable to wear than polyester clothing. It has good moth resistance and corrosion resistance. 4. The heat resistance and light resistance are not good enough, and the ironing temperature should be controlled below 140°C. Pay attention to the conditions of washing and maintenance during wearing and use, so as not to damage the fabric. 5. Nylon fabric is a light fabric, which is only listed after polypropylene and acrylic fabrics in synthetic fiber fabrics. Therefore, it is suitable for making mountaineering clothes and winter clothes. 4. Spandex (elastic fiber): Advantages: the best elasticity, good light resistance, acid resistance, alkali resistance, and abrasion resistance; Disadvantages: worst strength, poor moisture absorption;
